Royal Weddings and Royal Pains!

Well, it was a wonderful morning of people coming together for love and celebration of love, which is always a wonderful thing!

I watched my first Royal Wedding this morning with Will and Kate and was amazed by the dress, the glorious appearance of the Abbey, the choir, etc. Everything is just as you would have though it to be: Regal and majestic. That being said, I wished I would have seen a little more passion between Will and Kate. When they approached the balcony to make their first appearance as husband and wife and have their first kiss as husband and wife, I felt like it was a quick embarrassed peck vs. a couple excited to kiss as husband and wife for their first time. But I suppose I can't talk as I don't know how it would feel to share a kiss in front of millions of people...But it would have been fun! :) I really enjoyed it all though! It was nice to see those childhood princess dreams actualized you know? It was sweet.

My royal pain? Having the start date for work pushed back another week! Now I know what you all are saying: Enjoy your last week off...But really you guys, I haven't worked in 6 months (which I have NEVER done before! and I'm sooo bored now!) and the lack of income really is stressing for us (it's no fun not being able to do anything because you don't have the money you know? You end up just being a hermit!). I think a good portion of it as well is needing that purpose you know? Right now there is just no purpose for me other than to just exist it seems, so this will make me feel much better and we can enjoy life a little more two without having to pinch every penny! (Not working is a little more fun for the rich I would imagine! But not soo much for the poor!) :) We will get there though! I'm extremely grateful for the job I have gotten though! I'm pretty blessed considering there are some job woes here still. I'm REALLY excited to start though!

The Royal wedding was neat to see, but I still have a certain fondness to a Feb 14th wedding with a man who is and always will be a prince to me!

It's Been Over a YEAR!!

Last I wrote, I had just moved into my current rental and was getting ready to start an temp job that turned out to be a complete and utter nightmare and end as quick as it began! Thankfully, not a month later I was able to find what is my current job and I can proudly say I have been working out for over a year now with potentials of a promotion and raise! (More details to follow, I don't want to jinx myself just yet, so if you are reading this, please send out all the positive vibes, say a prayer, lots of love and care as this girl could use the boost! Not only would this job be a great step in the right direction for me and my career, it would also put me back on a schedule that I painfully crave to have as my current schedule is a nightmare! Better Things to Come?

So, I have officially packed, unpacked, arranged sorted, decorated, re-decorated (and so forth!) the new home!! YAY!! I absolutely LOVE the new house! It's a great size, not too big, not too small and very cozy! I honestly can see us living here for a long time! (As long as the neighbors aren't crazy! Haha!). It's a semi-dettached home with 3 bedrooms 1 full bathroom and one half bathroom. A nice little living room, dining room and kitchen as well as a back yard with a nice little porch! We have neighbors to our right and left, but none behind us, so we shouldn't bug too many people! I think the best thing about this home is that we have really been able to feel like we could settle into it and really make it our "home". Not just a "house" but a "home".
