I think I found my dress!!

I'm soo excited! I think this will make the PERFECT 2 time use wedding dress! :)I tried to upload the picture onto this site, but for some reason it won't! *POUT!* I'll keep working on it! But for now, refer to the link I'm providing! http://www.simplydresses.com/shop/viewitem-PD484473

So I couldn't help myself! You see, David and I have been talking about what we want to do. Well, in order to just make things "official" we have to go to the judge and just do the whole in-court marriage, which is fine because I've already had my whole big wedding with the big dress and ceremony and reception, etc. Not really needing it. So, instead, what we thought is that we would just get married and then throw a "reception" later that everyone could come to (maybe just a big BBQ or something). But then later we want our "Honeymoon" to be in the Maldives (BEAUTIFUL Island by the way!) and do their little wedding package with the two of us (it's not official anyways but that won't matter because we will already be married!) but we get to wear our wedding attire of choice (which mine will be the picture above and I think David wants to do that typical all white button up shirt and pants) they will take wedding pictures of us and we get cake, romantic dinner for 2 campaign, gorgeous little villa looking off into the ocean, etc! For me, it would be the PERFECT way to do something more official (again even though no one will be there) Basically, we just get to have a beautiful romantic time together and it's a good compromise to giving David something more elaborate (which he's never had!) and it saves me all the frustration and stress of having to plan a wedding! (Though I know Dave would be extremely supportive and helpful in doing...but I just don't want to!)

But anyways, what makes it so perfect is that I can wear it to the court with like a cardigan or some sort of pretty jacket over it, then later, use it for our beach wedding!! It just seems so perfect and Beach-like! I'm soo excited!! I've gotta sort out a few other pressing matters before I can expend for the dress. But I'll be keeping my eye on it! :) Please feel free to give your thoughts!! (and thanks for listening to my excited little rant!!)

YOWSA!!! That is one hot dress!!! Love it! And I'm sure the man will too!! :) The whole wedding deal sounds like a great plan to me. I love the idea of a romantic getaway with a little "ceremony." Love that you guys will have pictures you can treasure forever!!

Annual Update!

So I am the queen at updating this blog once a year! I don't mean to neglect, but it's just been so busy for me! Life certainly keeps me on my toes these days! Big events that are worth noting for the past year: -Bought a house! It's a lovely three bedroom detached house that I can call my own, hide in to get away from the world. Decorate any way I want and fill with love! I couldn't be happier here and have really settled in well! -Got a dog! He's a year old now and named Mack. Mack is a gorgeous black lab puppy with the most loving personality and the energy of 20 kids hyped up on sugar! He is the sweetest and most exhausting little guy, but he is my baby! Here is my warning for when you visit: Beware of dog, he does not hold licker well! Haha! I love that he makes me a more active person. I walk him daily and play with him when I would probably otherwise just sit on my backside and watch TV. So he's awesome all around. -I am officially a UK CITIZEN!!! Wh...
